This program is open to all members!  Please read requirements and contact Veronica with any questions.

Benefits:

Consultants & Vendors:

· You can have help for your weddings or office work.  The first time you call on a Novice member the work that they do for you is free of charge to you.  If you call on the same Novice member gain, then you must work out some type of compensation between the two of you.

· You are helping a fellow member get on their feet and may find a new and trustworthy employee!

Novice Member:

· One of the options to moving to consultant level member and earning points for future advancement is to apprentice another member at weddings.

· You get great experience from the consultant before beginning and working your own weddings.

· Once you have completed all of the above requirements we’ll add your name to the next newsletter so other consultants can call on you.  We’ll also add your name and phone number to this website.

· The first time you help a consultant you must do it on a volunteer basis, the second time that you help the SAME consultant it is required that you and the consultant work out some type of compensation.

Rules For Members:

· If its not your wedding no cameras or picture phones at the wedding or reception

· You cannot pass out your business cards if it isn’t your wedding.  If a guest says what a wonderful wedding it is pass on the working consultants information.

· Do not talk to the bride and groom about anything if it isn’t your wedding.  Always refer to the working consultant, unless something is worked out between the two of you before hand.

· Please take this program as a professional commitment. If you are late, or don’t show up don’t expect another chance from another member.

· You are representing the attending consultants business so your behavior reflects on them.  Please behave appropriately, and wear comfortable shoes.

· White you may be offered a meal during the reception, you are not a guest and should eat discretely in a separate area and NEVER consume alcohol while on the job.

· Consultants or vendor members must meet with their consultants at least once before the wedding day to go over plans so the Novice member knows what is going on.

· Each party must write a recommendation letter, give a copy to the other party and one to the State Coordinator.  This is to help each of you with your experience requirements.  These must be sent out no later than 30 days after the event.

· The members are volunteering to learn, they are not slaves for a day, please treat the volunteers with the professionalism we know you have.

· Although payment is not required, feel free to “tip” your Novice helper for a job well done.

· Please take the time to hold a meeting afterward.  Explain things out, answer questions, give feedback (both parties)

I hope that these guidelines will help in building relationships with each other.
